The World Memory Championships 2013 took place from November 30 to December 2 in Croydon, London, England, bringing together the world’s most elite mental athletes. With 100 competitors from various countries, the Philippines proudly fielded a strong delegation of memory athletes who demonstrated exceptional skill and discipline across multiple categories.
Leading the Philippine team was Mark Anthony P. Castañeda, who secured an impressive 8th place globally with 5,750 points. He was closely followed by Erwin G. Balines (11th, 5,218 points) and Johann Randall P. Abrina (13th, 4,690 points). The rest of the Filipino delegation also delivered solid performances across different levels of competition.
