The Japan Open Memory Championship 2014 was held in Tokyo, Japan from May 4–5, welcoming 20 participants from various countries to compete in a rigorous test of cognitive excellence. Among them, six Filipino memory athletes stood out with remarkable performances across multiple disciplines, bringing home top positions and accolades.
Leading the Philippine delegation was Miguel Iseah J. Landicho, who ranked 4th overall with an impressive 3288 points, claiming the Junior Overall Champion title. Close behind was Mary Sharmaine D. Dianquinay, who placed 5th overall with 3279 points, and Anne Bernadette D. Bonita, who secured 7th place with 2720 points. Rommel J. Landicho Jr., Danna Yzabelle Soriano, and Daniel Inigo M. Soriano also showcased their prowess in various categories.
