The World Memory Championships 2014 was held from December 11 to 14 in Haikou, China, bringing together 169 top memory athletes from around the globe. Among them were six outstanding Filipino competitors who proudly represented the Philippines on the world stage.
Notably, Erwin G. Balines led the Philippine delegation with an impressive 12th place overall finish, scoring 5,142 points. He was followed by Mark Anthony P. Castaneda, who secured 17th place with 4,959 points, and Jamyla Domingo Lambunao, who placed 24th, tallying 4,383 points.
Additional team members included Axelyancy Cowan J. Tabernilla (31st, 4,087 points), Anne Bernadette D. Bonita (83rd, 2,811 points), and Roberto M. Racasa (107th, 2,424 points).
