The Singapore Open Memory Championship 2017 took place from September 30 to October 1, 2017, gathering 82 participants from various countries at a prestigious venue in Singapore. Enzo Gabriel L. Castillon placed 12th overall with an impressive 3236 points, while Chelsea B. Acogido secured the 53rd position with 1047 points. Castillon also earned two podium finishes in the Junior Division, clinching 3rd place in Cards (10-minute discipline) with 160 cards and 3rd place in Random Numbers (15-minute discipline) with 406 digits memorized. These achievements highlight the growing presence and talent of young Filipino mental athletes in the global memory sports arena.
