The Asia Open Memory Championship 2023 took place on October 28–29, 2023, in Manila, Philippines, drawing a total of 75 mental athletes from across the region. The event showcased the exceptional skills of memory competitors across various age groups and disciplines, using the GAMA Online platform for digital-based evaluations in a face-to-face setup.

Among the Filipino participants, Erwin G. Balines led the adult category with 5,057 points, securing 8th place overall and achieving 1st place in the 30-minute cards discipline (728 cards) and 2nd in speed cards with a time of 33.976 seconds. In the junior category, Chloe Andrea B. Galamgam ranked 15th overall with 3,852 points, and earned 2nd place in the Spoken Numbers (Juniors) event with 75 digits.

In the kids’ division, Venir III P. Manzalay was a standout performer, finishing 3rd overall with 1,240 points. He clinched 1st place in Random Images, and multiple 3rd place finishes in Random Words, Cards, and Historic Dates.
